offers asynchronous courses for your optimal flexibility to learn at your convenience.  Pre-recorded presentations include Personal Inquiry and Activities for participatory online learning. Various learning styles are respected, i.e., visual, audio, and kinetic. Welcome!

Global Indigenous Societies:  Traditional Justice Practices

This course provides an over-view of traditional restorative justice practices of Indigenous nations in Canada, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand, from historic to contemporary times. Included are sentencing circles, with focus on healing.

Community Development and Self-Determination’ (working with Indigenous communities)

This course explores inter-cultural dynamics/protocols when working with Indigenous communities. Focus is on self-determination for healthy and healing processes in community development. Restorative resolution practices are explored in contexts of the environment and both urban and rural development.

Resolution through Indigenous Education (MicroCredential course)

This course analyzes current trends and practices of restorative dispute resolution in all levels of academic institutions (primary, secondary, and post-secondary) as well as recreational and residential settings. Emphasis is on the unique features and challenges of restorative practices in education, particularly in the context of curriculum-based institutional environments.

The Power of Cedar Tree Teachings (MicroCredential course)

An Indigenous Elder shares her family’s personal traditional teachings on the power of cedar for health and wellbeing. The teachings have been passed down inter-generationally and are now shared in a series of 5 short modules. The Elder is recorded as she shares key terms in her language. The teachings are valuable for personal life skills and lifelong learning, professional development, and for mediators facilitating multi-cultural participants, to support healing and positivity.   (Activities and Resource booklet available)

Embedded Training Library.  The materials from your training program are pre-loaded in the ADR Notable Library.  That’s right, your training materials in your workspace and available any time, any place you have internet. How does it work?  You will receive an email from your Trainer inviting you to the Course in ADR Notable.  Once you accept, you will see folders in the Library for Documents, Clauses, and/or Checklists provided by your Trainer.

10 Extra Free Weeks.  You receive an extended Free Trial of 90 days instead of the standard 14 days.  We know you may be just starting out, or learning new skills, so take some extra time.
